Draco found his mother reading in the living room. He pulled up a chair beside her and pulled out the jewels Pansy had given him. "Mother, would you take a look at these?"

Narcissa put down her book, and looked at the jewels in Draco's hand.

"Wow, Draco...those are beautiful. Where did you get them?" Narcissa asked, awestruck.

"Pansy gave them to me," Draco said.

"Draco...these jewels are amazing...I can tell that they're very powerful...I can feel it. I think that Borgin and Burke's should take a look at them. Surely, they'll know what kind of power they hold. Would you like me to take them there for you?" Narcissa asked, and handed them back to Draco.

"Please," Draco said. "I'm afraid the ministry will be watching Knockturn Alley, and you're not actually wanted for anything...and I'd rather you didn't say where you got them, nothing about me or Pansy."

"Don’t worry, Draco. I'll take them there first chance I get. If anyone suspects anything, I'll just tell them that my mother gave the jewels to me, and that they're a family heirloom, okay?" Narcissa said and smiled.

Draco smiled at her. "I'm not worried." He lowered his voice in case any of the other Death Eaters decided to pass through and added. "I love you, mum."
