The next morning, Colin rushed into Dennis's room and bounced on his bed.

"Let's give Neville a visit. He might be interested in the paper, and I want to learn more about his capture of Draco!". He flashed his brother a cheery smile, and raced downstairs for some breakfast. His mother loved to spoil them when they were home for the summer, and made some sort of fancy breakfast every morning. Pancakes and strawberries this morning. They scarffed down a quick breakfast and kissed their mum goodbye.

"But Colin, we don't know where Neville lives!"

"We're taking the Knight Bus." he replied in a dark voice. Fumbling for his wand, he found his smile while he was at it. He pointed to the sky and fell back as the bus rushed up in front of them, practically running them over.

They paid, and stepped off in front of Neville’s. Colin knocked on the door, and got his camera ready. He loved surprising people.

Neville came to the door, his wand at the ready. After what happened the night that Draco paid him a surprise visit, he never stopped being overly cautious. He opened the door and something flashed right in his eyes.

"Colin!" he snapped. "Haven't I told you not to do that to people without warning?" He looked down at the boy standing next to Colin. He had never talked to him, but he knew it was Colin's little brother, Dennis. What could they possibly be doing here?

"So... won't you come in?" he asked them. "What brings you to my house this morning?"

"Sorry mate." He flashed Neville a smile. “That will make a good one for the article.” He thought.

"Well, I was wondering if you'd give me some of the details about that night Draco came over. It would be fantastic to start a school newspaper this year, and I think this story should be on the front page. Do you think you could help me out?" he asked eagerly. "This is Dennis by the way, my little brother."

Colin took off his shoes while explaining, and then stared at Neville with a goofy grin and expected look on his face.

"So you want to start a school paper and you want to interview me for it? And you want to put me on the front page for something that happened before the school year even started? Aren't school papers supposed to focus on school related events?" Neville looked at the Creevy brothers with a look of confusion on his face.

"Not necessarily. This is big stuff!" Colin said excitedly. "Please? It'd be great!"

Neville sighed. Even though he was excited to be getting this much attention, which was something he was not used to, he didn't want it to seem that way.

"Alright, Colin, if you insist. Have a seat. Would you like something to eat or drink? My grandmother is out running errands, so the only food I can give you is chocolate frogs."

"I'd love some mate, thanks."  Collin waited impatiently while Neville returned with the frogs. "Alright, so what happened first?"

Neville grabbed a handful of chocolate frogs and placed them at the center of the table for all three of them to share. He also got them each a glass of water before he sat down and made himself comfortable.

"Let me think. The first thing that happened... oh yes! Now I remember! I had stayed up late and I was reading my Herbology book. I had just finished the chapter on poisonous plants when I saw something moving outside the window." He took a bite of his chocolate frog and waited for Colin to finish writing.

Colin wrote feverishly while Neville continued on with his story. When Neville began to speak about capturing Draco's wand Colin piped up.

"Hey, can I get a picture of the wand?" he asked eagerly.

"I don't think so, Colin," Neville said uncomfortably. "I haven't moved it from its hiding place since I first put it there. And who knows who the Death Eaters have watching the place to see if I show any sign of it. I think it would be best if I don't show it to you. You understand, it's for safety reasons. But I can show you the spot where Draco and I dueled in the backyard!"

"That'd be lovely then!" Colin said, a tad disappointed. He wished to have a picture of a triumphant looking Neville holding Draco's wand... but he supposed it'd have to wait.

"Lead the way mate."

Dennis suddenly interrupted them before Neville could leave.

"Neville, how can you be certain the death eaters don't know where it is? You should probably switch its location every couple of days."

Neville looked down at Dennis with a slightly annoyed look on his face. Who was this boy to tell him what he should do with the wand that he had taken from a Death Eater?

"You certainly have a point, Dennis," he said. "But I hid the wand before the Death Eaters even knew that Draco was in danger. There's no way they know where it is. And if I took it out now and hid it somewhere else, and we were being watched, then they would know exactly where it was. So I don't think I'll be moving it any time soon."
He then turned back to Colin.

"Follow me, mate. I'll show you the backyard. But please don't touch anything. If you pull out a mandrake, you'll kill us all!"

"Righto." Colin followed Neville eagerly  Dennis wearily stayed behind, he didn't feel to welcome. He waited until they were out of sight in the backyard before he began his search.

"Can I get a picture of you near the mandrake Draco pulled?" Colin said once they reached the backyard.

"Draco didn't pull out a mandrake, I did! And it was this one right here," he said, pointing at the leaves.

"And after I had Draco in no position to be a threat, I replanted it and then I removed the tape and cotton from Draco's ears so I could talk to him."

Neville posed for the picture with the mandrake leaves. Colin happily took the picture, and continued to make pleasant chat about how cleaver the mandrakes were, and other such things.

"Well, if you have everything you need for your article, maybe we should head back inside and check on your brother. I feel bad leaving him alone for this long."

Neville had Colin follow him back to the house. Once inside, Neville noticed the mess immediately.  "What is your brother doing? Tearing the place apart?"

Dennis was rummaging through a trunk when he heard Collin and Neville enter. He spotted the wand and snatched it up, hiding it in his robes. He re-locked the chest and stood up.

"Well I'm sure I don't know... I'm sorry chap. He's usually a bit more respectful, but I suspect he must have been playing with his toy snitch. He's been carrying that thing around for days now."

"Sorry Neville, I'll have it spotless in just a moment. That snitch is a nasty bugger eh?"

"Well, just please clean it up right away," he said to Dennis. "My grandmother is going to be home soon and she would not be happy if she saw this mess."

Neville was trying not to be rude, but he had a feeling something fishy was going on.

"Dennis, you weren't in my bedroom at all, were you?"

"No," he lied. He hadn't made a mess in there since the first thing he went through was the trunk, he said a silent prayer of thanks.  Dennis began tidying up, and Collin joined in soon after.

"Thanks for letting me write this article Neville. The pictures were fantastic! School will be great this year." he smiled and patted Neville on the back. He quickly took another picture. He always liked the unsuspecting faces best.

Neville knew that last picture Colin took wasn't going to be a good one. He had a look of suspicion and annoyance on his face.

"I don't mean to be rude, Colin, but I think you and Dennis should probably go now. My grandmother is going to be home any minute, and I'd prefer it if she didn't know anyone was here. She doesn't exactly trust my judgment when it comes to who I let into the house these days." He started walking them to the door.

"But thank you for stopping by, and I'm looking forward to seeing that article in the school paper."

"Bye, Neville! Thanks again." Colin said while he left. Dennis and Collin walked to the curb, summoned the Knight Bus and were on their way home.
