Title: The Amazing Dress Sneakout

Hermione noticed the guys leaving for Bill's Bachelor party and too her chance. Grabbing Tonks and Ginny, Hermione quickly whispered the plan into their ears and grabbed the floo powder. “Are we ready to go?” she asked in front of the fireplace. She was in her muggle clothes and had her hair pulled back. She knew that a muggle style dress for Bill and Fleur's wedding would make her standout nicely and look lovely.

"I'm ready.  It'll be fun helping you choose a dress," Ginny replied with a grin, "I sort of wish that I could pick my own, but as much as I hate to admit it, the one Fleur picked is pretty. If not a little low cut." She added with a shudder.

Hermione smiled. 'I like your dress. If you want, we can use a few pins to raise it right before.' She supplied as she tossed power into the flames. 'DIAGON ALLEY!' She stepped in and felt herself spinning round and round.

"That would be wonderful," Ginny said with an appreciative nod, "But I'm not sure if the dress will allow it, unless perhaps we charm the top fabric to make it go up higher. It's pretty much cut to me exactly, and wouldn't settle for being pulled up." She stepped into the flames with a "Diagon Alley," after Hermione, and she too was pulled into the swirling flames.

Hermione watched as Ginny fell into the pub with them. The pair turned towards the Muggle street and out into the open evening air. “So shall we try somewhere large first, or a small boutique?”

"Small boutique, definitely," Ginny said with a knowing nod. When I'd been forcibly dragged dress shopping with Fleur, the small boutiques had always had prettier stuff, not trying to stock things they thought that EVERYONE would like, but things that people who had the time to shop and select would choose.

“Ok then, let's head out.” Hermione led Ginny to a small boutique she knew of nearby. When they walked in, the shop keep grinned at them genially. Hermione walked over to a rack and picked out a deep red one. “What colour is Ron's robe again? I don't wanna clash with him too badly.”

"I can't remember, they're either black or blue, I think. Red is definitely not an option, given Ron's hair. Obviously, since I have it, too. Red and orange clash."

“Mmmkay, lesse...” She dug deeper within the set until she pulled out a blue dress with thin straps. “I kinda like it, but I really don't know if I should be playing 'twinsies' with you and Gabby. See anything ya like?”

Hermione nodded and turned to face a second rack when suddenly she saw it. “GINNY! Ginny, it's this one!” she said, pulling out a black dress with white trim.

She twirled the dress around against herself and smiled. What do you think?
